Method and assumptions
Model a complete Etsy order instead of subtracting only the headline transaction fee. Every fee preset remains editable because payment processing and advertising rates depend on the seller and market.
Net profit = item and shipping revenue - product cost - outbound shipping - listing fees - transaction fee - payment processing - Offsite Ads - other advertising.
Worked scenario
Model a 38 USD order with a 14 USD product cost, seller-paid shipping, one listing renewal and editable transaction, processing and advertising rates. Run the order once without Offsite Ads and once with the applicable ad rate. The difference shows why an order can have the same customer price but a materially different contribution margin.
How to interpret the result
Read the fee total by component before using the final margin. The fixed listing and processing amounts weigh more heavily on low-priced orders, while percentage charges scale with the fee base. Shipping charged to the buyer may also enter the transaction-fee base, so shipping income and shipping expense should not be netted into one number before fees are calculated.

Questions to check before deciding
Does this include Etsy Offsite Ads?
Yes. Enter the applicable Offsite Ads percentage, or leave it at zero for an order that was not attributed to Offsite Ads.
Why can I edit the default fees?
Processing fees vary by bank country and platform rules can change. Editable assumptions make the result auditable and useful after a fee update.
