This calculator compares two simple upright carton orientations. It does not create interlocking patterns or verify compression strength, overhang or transport regulations.
Cartons per layer use the better of two right-angle layouts. Total cartons are limited by available height and maximum payload.
Common questions
Does this allow carton overhang?
No. Every carton is assumed to remain inside the pallet footprint.
Can cartons be placed on their side?
This model keeps carton height vertical. Confirm packaging limits before using other orientations.
